Fortekor palatable tablets are indicated for use in dogs with congestive heart failure. When given to a dog that suffers from this condition, Fortekor helps ease the load on their weakened body by reducing pressure in various parts, including the lungs and brain, while also improving circulation.
Fortekor are a beige, ovaloid divisible tablet scored on both sides for easy breakage. The active ingredient is Benazepril hydrochloride 20 mg. Sold in a 28 pack (2 blister packs).

Do not use Fortekor in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Do not use it in cases of hypotension, hypovolaemia, hyponatraemia or acute renal failure.
Do not use it in cases of cardiac output failure due to aortic or pulmonary stenosis.
Do not use it during pregnancy or lactation.
Wash hands after use.
In case of accidental oral ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show the label or the package leaflet to the physician.
Pregnant women should take special care to avoid accidental oral exposure because angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors have been found to affect the unborn child during pregnancy in humans.
