Eurican Herpes 205 are two different powders that can be mixed together to form an emulsion for subcutaneous injection. The vaccine used in canine pregnancies, called "Euriscan herpes viremia", prevents mortality rates from occurring as well as clinical signs of infection like lesions on puppies' bodies caused by this virus acquired during their first few days.
Eurican Herpes 205 for dogs is a white pellet powder and homogeneous white emulsion solution. Eurican Herpes 205 is a Vaccine Antigen which contains a weakened or an inactivated (killed) form of virus or bacterium, or a small part of the virus or bacterium that cannot cause disease.
Eurican Herpes 205 is a prescription-only medication. This means that before you complete your purchase, you are required to upload a prescription through our online portal. Once our team has confirmed you've ordered the right medication for your dog we will send out your order. It's a simple process that means you can buy Eurican Herpes 205 online instead of going to your vet every month.
Eurican Herpes 205 should be injected as one dose (1ml), following the reconstitution of the powder and solvent, as follows:
First injection: Either during heat or 7 – 10 days after the presumed date of mating.
Second injection: 1 to 2 weeks before the expected date of whelping.
Revaccination: during each pregnancy, according to the same schedule.
The reconstituted content shall be a milky emulsion.
Vaccinate only healthy animals.
Abortion and premature parturition can occur as a result of CHV infection in bitches.
The Eurican Herpes 205 vaccine may commonly cause transient oedema at the site of injection. These reactions usually regress within one week.
Hypersensitivity reactions may occur. These are rare, and appropriate symptomatic treatment should be administered.
Contains mineral oil. Accidental injection/self-injection may result in severe pain and swelling, particularly if injected into a joint or finger, and in rare cases could result in the loss of the affected finger if prompt medical attention is not given.
